Andrew Sanchez grew up in El Paso, Texas. However, his family moved to Fort Worth due to the cartel violence in Juarez south of the bank. After his family decided to move to Fort Worth for high school, Andrew Sanchez looked at options trying out different sports such as football and wrestling but never stuck with any one sport before finding MMA after five years of training. Andrew Sanchez made his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson Finale on July 12, 2014 against fellow castmate Gilbert Smith losing via first round KO.
