Qa Joanna Gearyoremus Onezero Joanna Geary was the former Editor-in-Chief at OneZero. Based on science and know-how, this website is now owned by Medium. Geary was Head of Information Products at Twitter from 2016 to 2017. She led the team that built Twitter’s data products, partnerships, and other products. She is a Visiting Scholar at the College of Southern California’s Annenberg College for Communication and Journalism.

Geary has been a journalist for more than a decade. From 2006 to 2011, she was a reporter for The Guardian, covering various topics, including technology, media, business, and more. From 2011 to 2013, she was the US enterprise editor at The Guardian. Geary quit The Guardian in 2013 to join The Instances. She was Head of Social and Viewers at The Instances until 2016.

Geary announced in February 2018 that she was leaving Medium to pursue “completely different alternative options.”
