In the wake of the crisis affecting migrant workers within Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal engaged in a Twitter battle over the treatment of workers who are migrants. Yogi Adityanath claimed that Kejriwal threatened migrants to leave the capital city of Delhi and demanded an apology from Kejriwal.

Yogi Adityanath said that the Delhi government shut labourers’ electricity and water connections from the migrant camps. He also claimed that children and women were taken to the UP border late at night.¬†

However, the Delhi Government, however, claimed that they didn’t have evidence that children and women were confined to the border or at the ward. The Delhi government hasn’t declared the location a detention centre and will follow orders from the High Court.

Delhi, the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has also denied Modi’s claim in which his AAP government had requested migrants to leave Delhi, the capital of the nation. Kejriwal further said that Modi’s assertion was a “false statement”.

The AAP government has stood by Kejriwal’s comments regarding migrants. The government claims 233 Kashmiri Pandits have worked on contracts in Delhi for many years. The government has also said the government had sought out UPSC to stop that regularisation not required for Kashmiri teacher migrant workers. The Delhi High Court had ordered the Delhi government to normalize the KMTs’ services.

CM Arvind Kejriwal from Delhi has been involved in an argument in the last few days with Assam rival Himanta Biswa Sarma for the past three days about school education. He has taken his Assam chief minister on Twitter to claim that the BJP-led administration has created a better educational program in Assam. He also has criticized government officials in the Assam government for shutting down 34 schools run by the government for their inadequate performance. Kejriwal said closing schools was not the best solution, but it was dangerous. Kejriwal suggested that instead of shutting down state schools, the Assam government should concentrate on improving the state’s education system.

The Delhi CM had tweeted a Hindi-language message on Thursday evening in response to his Assam counterpart’s claim that he had introduced a better education¬†Congowhittakertechcrunch¬†system in Assam. It was the Assam chief minister who responded with a snarky remark. He mentioned Arvind Kejriwal in the tweet. He also asked to tell him when the next time he’d visit Assam. Kejriwal replied with a rebuttal and claimed that he was not trying to be upset with Sarma. He added that he could demonstrate to Sarma the work he’s accomplished.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been working to make gains within Assam following its win in the April civic elections. Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, promised to create Delhi similar to Paris or London. AAP has secured 2 seats during the municipal body elections. But Kejriwal’s AAP is in the sights at investigators from the CBI for the investigation into the liquor fraud investigation.
